If you have the best dog (we all do!), then you’ll want to hear about a great holiday gift you can give your pup this holiday. I’ll also share an easy DIY tug and chew toy.
Our dog, Oliver, is now 4. He came to us as a rescue and traveled from Kentucky to New Jersey to be a part of our family.
As you can see, he’s pretty important around here. He’s a friend, a companion, a comfort for the kids and a playmate. He’s everything. So, this holiday, we’re adding to his treat and toy stash with pretty cool Milk-Bone® Holiday Tin Dog Treats and Milo’s Kitchen® Dog Treats.
I also decided to repurpose some items to create a new toy for Oliver. It’s a super simple Chew Fetch and Tug toy.
Here’s what you need:
Pet Safe balls
Socks – Dress socks with a bit of stretch works best (1 sock per toy)
- You’ll then want to tie a first knot, leaving enough on the end that your dog (or you) can grab onto.
- Next, add a ball and knot.
3. Repeat the step again.
This toy is great if you have a dog that chews through things quickly or loses interest. We spend a lot on dog toys only to have our dog ruin them within a day. Even if he tears into this one, it is easy to remake and is inexpensive to do so.
Oliver is a fan of the new toy!
Along with Oliver’s new toy, The Milk-Bone® Holiday Tin and Milo’s Kitchen® Dog Treats make for a perfect gift. The Milk-Bone® Holiday Tin is only available at Target for a limited time.
The design of the tin is super cute and worth saving! Beloved since 1908, these treats are perfect for dogs of all sizes. They are wholesome treats that come from the heart. And just LOOK at how adorable these treats are.
When picking out stocking stuffers, I made sure to grab some Chicken Jerky treats from Milo’s Kitchen®. Oliver loves Milo’s Kitchen® treats, where their motto is that “The Best Treats Come from the Kitchen®”, so I feel good about giving them to him. When I give Oliver treats, I like knowing that there are no artificial flavors or colors 100% Real Chicken as the #1 ingredient. You can also include Pup-Peroni® and Canine Carry Outs® Dog Treats as stocking stuffers that your dog will love, too.
SAVINGS ALERT: If you want to buy these for your pup this holiday season, visit Target. Until 12/24/18, save 15% on Milk-Bone®, Milo’s Kitchen®, Pup-Peroni®, and Canine Carry Outs® Dog Treats with Cartwheel.
