Thank you Middle Sister for sponsoring this post. Bring your favorite Middle Sister wine along to all of your celebrations this year!
I’m a mom. I work part-time, run this blog part-time and I don’t have lot of time. So, when the opportunity for a girls’ night presents itself, it can be fun to get out and have fun. But equally as nice, is staying in and wine pairs very nicely with that. My favorite wine to stock up on before a girls’ night in? Middle Sister Wine! Not only are the bottles so funny and relatable, they also have some great varietals – truly something for everyone.
Middle Sister wines were created 10 years ago (sigh…I remember when they were new on the shelves….) by the founding women of the Wine Sisterhood.
Founder Terry Wheatly was inspired and fascinated by her friend’s middle daughter, who was more outrageous, more free-spirited, and simply larger than life. In fact, it was my sister, the middle sister, spot on! Middle Sister Wine was created to celebrate middle sisters everywhere! And now that the brand is turning 10 (again, how did I get so old??!), the brand is hosting a monthly Kate Spade purse sweepstakes. ENTER THE GIVEAWAY HERE and be sure to bring your favorite Middle Sister wine along to all of your celebrations – remaining the one to never miss a good party.
Some Ideas for Girls Night In with Middle Sister Wine:
Cooking
A night of cooking, whether it’s a new meal or cooking meals to take and freeze for weeknight dinners, wine pairs great with the fun of cooking.
Arts, Crafts, and wine!
Choose a craft and do some creative making – with Middle Sister! Or you can BYOB Middle Sister to a paint and sip place for a fun night of painting.
Potluck Dinner
Good food, good conversation and not a lot of work for the hostess. Have every varietal of Middle Sister Wine on hand to pair with the variety of foods!
Clothing Swap
Everyone brings accessories or clothing that they no longer want and do a free swap with friends. Get a new scarf and get rid of the sweater that you barely wore and never loved the way it looked.
Favorite Things
Bring your favorite thing – one for each person at the party. The hostess can supply gift bags and everyone goes home with a swag bag of everyone’s favorite things – think lotion, scrub, cosmetics, small household items, etc. Set a price cap to keep it fun.
No matter what ideas you have for girls’ night activities – Middle Sister Wines are the perfect way to make sure everyone has their favorite wine to drink. Add some pretty flowers, a bite to eat (who doesn’t love cheese, crackers, fruit or even sweets?) and you can have a nice wine station.
Everyone will love the funny middle sisters and discovering which one they are.
I added in this sign that speaks to how I feel about friends and friendships.
This drink station can go with any girls’ night you plan.
How do you spend your girls’ nights?
