A great Mother’s Day gift doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive or time consuming to plan. I think it can be as easy as sharing the simple things – like a lunch outdoors over a great glass of Butter Chardonnay. A picnic style lunch is easily prepared and can go anywhere — even if to your own backyard, a park, outdoor event, beach…you get the idea. Pair your meal or picnic idea with JaM Butter Chardonnay from JaM Cellars and you’ve got a win. Cheers to Butter and cheers to motherhood.
I’m sharing my idea for the perfect Mother’s Day picnic. Even if you don’t want to spread out and eat on the grass, just bringing a “picnic” style lunch is simple, sweet and thoughtful. Plus, time with the mom in your life, as ‘partners in wine’ with Butter. JaM Butter Chardonnay is a MUST. If you haven’t tried Butter, you should. Butter Chardonnay is rich and bold. Made in the tradition of quality Californian winemaking, the grapes they select are ripe and bursting with flavor. They cold ferment the easy-to-love Chardonnay to a lush creaminess that you have to try to believe. Butter has stone fruit and baked-lemon notes and has a lovely, long vanilla finish. Simply put, it lives up to it’s name and melts in your mouth.
Butter Chardonnay goes nicely with whatever your Mother’s Day lunch would include.
What’s in my picnic basket?
I had fresh berries – blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. A spinach, feta and cranberry salad.
Cheeses, crackers, meat and fresh bread.
And it wouldn’t be complete without these gorgeous hydrangeas – flowers a must on Mother’s Day! I packaged it all up on a picnic basket, added some sparkling water, and all the food. Easy!
Keep it simple, bring the Butter and make it your own this Mother’s Day! Cheers.
