The Big Game is coming up soon and if you’re entertaining, you’re probably searching Pinterest for some fun ways to serve up those munchies and make your Big Game get-together one to remember. It’s fun to take those favorite snacks and serve them up in unique ways. One thing I love doing is making all our snacks ‘grab-and-go.’ I rarely put out big bowls of our favorite snacks, but instead create fun ways to serve things like Cape Cod Potato Chips, Snyders of Hanover Pretzels or Pop-Secret Popcorn.
Your guests will love being able to grab a snack to-go and it’s a fun way to create a concession stand right in your own home. Here are two ideas I’m going with this year to serve our snacks.
Wrapped Mason Jar – Popcorn
The first idea is pretty simple and involves mason jars. Everyone loves mason jars, and this idea of filling mason jars with popcorn is super easy. To create these:
- You’ll need clean mason jars, a bit of glue (glue gun works!) and these fun yard line files.
- Just print, cut and glue to each mason jar and you’ve got an instant to-go popcorn for guests.
They look pretty fun, too!
Chip and Pretzel Bags
Grab a bag and go! These small brown paper bags are a great way to serve up everyone’s favorite Cape Cod chips and Snyders of Hanover Pretzels.
To make:
- Print these fun football sayings HERE.
- Take each bag and roll down the top a little. You can find these at the grocery store. They are simply kraft paper sandwich wraps.
- Clip a football image to each bag with a clothespin and display.
There are so many different things you can do to make your big game fun and memorable. No matter ideas you come up with make sure you have plenty of snacks. I am always amazed at how fast we go through bags of chips, pretzels and popcorn. With products like Cape Cod Potato Chips, Snyders of Hanover Pretzels and Pop Secret Popcorn, you’ll be sure to have something for everyone with the variety of these brands. I always include these brands because they are traditional favorites – so I can please all my guests! No matter what team you are rooting for or who wins, food failure is NOT an option.
You can download the football printables or get your own blank chalkboard background to make it your own.
