No matter what the cause for celebration – a holiday, special event, or party, a tablescape in Silvers and Gold can make it more festive. While it works well during the winter months, the mix of metallic colors can work any time of year. (Think anniversary, milestone birthday, graduation, etc). No matter what you are celebrating, the perfect addition to a special event is Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine.
The components for my tablescape begin with a bold tablecloth in gold geometric patterns. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and designs. The gold chevron and dot print in gold and silver work well together. The two metallic tones work well together so you can mix and match pretty easily.
I used silver chargers and silver-rimmed dinnerwear. Stemless gold rimmed glassware was used as well as pops of silver and gold with these metallic beads in a mercury glass jar.
I also used mercury glass plates to give a little contrast and texture. The mirror-like finish is a nice addition. I used the same “berry beads” to add an accent to a placecard, which I made from silver and gold clothespins. I happened to find these but you could easily paint them or use washi tape to make them decorative.
With this tablescape theme, Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine fits right in. Gloria Ferrer is California’s most awarded sparkling wine house – and has received over 500 gold medals and fifty 90+ ratings in the last 5 years. Talk about perfect for celebrating! The beautiful bottles, labels and true color of the sparkling wine itself are so pretty against this tablescape.
