Who doesn’t enjoy takeout food? You don’t have to cook and it can be fun to try delicious, new foods. The downside, however, can be that it’s expensive and you don’t always know the quality of the ingredients. I love that Ling Ling Fried Rice meals are something I can pick up at the grocery store each week. They are convenient and just as good as takeout.
The meals are prepared using an infusion-style cooking method. This means that every single bite is full of flavor. Added to that, I really like that the Ling Ling Fried Rice Meals are all natural with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. With 5 different varieties available, you can stock up and have a delicious “takeout” night without the takeout! The varieties are based on authentic recipes from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand – all of our favorite types of takeout cuisine.
The 5 varieties:
The meals are quick and easy to prepare, so they’re great for a busy weeknight, family meal or an impromptu date night and movie. If you like your fried rice with a crispier texture, you can make these in the skillet. If you prefer a moister texture, you can use the microwave. Each box contains 2 separate bags – so you can make it all at once or make one of one variety and one of another. They only take 4-9 minutes to cook depending on how you prepare them. That’s MUCH faster than waiting for delivery OR having to go out and pick up an order.
We tried the Yakiniku Beef and I prepared it in the skillet. It was delicious and even better than some takeout we’ve had. The beef had a great texture and the overall flavor was delicious!
