I know many people make New Year’s Resolutions, but I’m not a big believer in them. I’m a big believer in having a goal, no matter when it is. And while it’s been hard to tell myself, I believe that if you want something, you start today and make it happen. It doesn’t matter if the last month has been terrible or the just the last day – approach each day with the mentality to make it happen.

For that spot on self-care and health, I plan on making sure I do AT LEAST one thing a day for me. Exercise would go here, a walk with the dog, tea and a book for 20 minutes or a quick power nap. I think it’s important to be mindful of what we’re doing for ourselves and to make it a daily habit to put YOU first.
