Today I’m sharing a quick and easy recipe for a strawberry smoothie bowl, topped with almonds, coconut, chia seeds and dried fruit. It’s perfect for breakfast, a post workout snack or afternoon boost! The most important ingredient here is the protein powder — it can make or break an amazing recipe like this.
I’m pretty picky with my protein, so when I had the chance to try Orgain Protein Powder, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As far as protein powders go, you’re never sure what you’re going to get. I’ve raised my standards, and Orgain has passed my picky test – so I am doing something new my new favorite protein powder. I decided to change it up a bit with a quick and delicious Strawberry Smoothie Bowls. A delicious, quick and easy breakfast or post workout food for the pickiest of palettes.
- 1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 1/4 c. sliced strawberries (reserve 1 for topping)
- 1 scoop Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 tbsp water
- chia seeds
- sliced almonds
- dried strawberries
- shredded coconut
- fresh strawberry slices
- Combine all ingredients (reserve topping ingredients) into blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into bowl and add toppings listed or those of your choice.
