When your kids head back to school, most of us spend time at the office supply store letting our kids pick out their school supplies. It’s a huge task and fun for the kids. Along with new clothes, new backpacks and haircuts, parents have a lot to check off their lists at the beginning of the school year.
Below are some back-to-school essentials you might not think of – but they’re just as important.
Baby Wipes
I know, you’re probably thinking, “say what…?” Even if you have a high schooler a pack of wipes (they don’t NEED to be baby wipes) is great to throw in a backpack. They’re great for cleaning up messes in a pinch from young ones to high schoolers.
Leak Proof Water Bottle
Keeping your kids hydrated is so important. Get a good water bottle that will last them the school year. They can be pricey but they are worth it in the long run as your kids tote them from school to home and then to practice.
Consider Technology
While this one might be for home versus the backpack, it’s a good idea to think about what technology your child will benefit from to help with learning, projects and more. See what the curriculum entails and research laptops or tablets to make sure your child has what they need to succeed.
