This post, featuring summer essentials was sponsored by The Persil® brand. I was provided with a sample of Persil® ProCleanTM laundry detergent in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own.
With spring fully underway, summer will soon follow. I don’t know about your house, but things change a lot around my house during the summer. There’s day camp, vacations, day trips, more outdoor time and of course, more fun. One parenting trick is to try to anticipate the needs of our kids and families in order to keep things organized and have the right stuff on hand. Having the right summer essentials is key! Here are some of my essential picks for summer fun:
Summer Tote
As a parent, a good summer tote is essential for a busy summer. Throw all your essentials in and go.
Hydration
Take water on the go – I stocked up on these glass water bottles at Target. They are perfect for keeping hydrated on warm days, road trips, and days out and about.
Healthy Snacks
My kids are always asking for snacks – and having healthy snacks on hand can be mean better choices for long summer days.
Kid-Friendly Summer Shoes
The sneaker/sandal combo is the best thing ever. Usually made of a breathable, rubber – they resemble sneakers but they’re a sandal. Literally go from water to land without a single shoe change. My kids love the wet park – it’s filled with sprinklers and all sorts of fun for kiddos to stay cool. With these shoes, hop out of the car, play and get back in. It’s an essential with kids!
Persil® ProCleanTM
With kids, summer fun can equal dirty clothes, and that’s okay. Let them play. Let them get dirty. It’s all good, because it’s as simple as Persil® ProCleanTM in your laundry room.
I picked up Persil® ProCleanTM at Target. (It is available at select Target stores across the nation and online to everyone!) The cleaning power is exceptional and stains are easy to tackle. Ground in dirt from a baseball game were gone and the fresh smell after washing is unbeatable.
Mobile Office/Flexible To-Do Lists
Responsibilities and that t0-do list unfortunately don’t go away just because it is summer. If at all possible, change your approach – take your to-do list on-the-go, work from outdoors, tackle errands at night. Do what you can to work in more fun with your family and kids during the summer months.
Sunscreen
A most important staple in your bag – don’t forget to apply before heading outside. A sunscreen stick is my favorite for throwing in the bag and touching up noses, faces and more when we’re on-the-go.
