Between my three young children, there are preschool teachers, school-age teachers, after-school activity teachers, and so many other people that we need to say ‘thank you’ to with a gift for the holidays. With so many, I usually don’t like to break the bank on these gifts, but still want to give something that everyone will love. This year, I went off the theme of how much “EXTRA” these people give to my children – particularly my twins’ preschool teachers. If you know anything about three year old twins, you’ll know what a handful they are -especially together. I’m pretty sure that my twins are the reason those two lovely ladies need some “EXTRA” pampering.
For an easy and meaningful gift, I took a trip to Dollar General for some varieties of Extra® and Doublemint® — who doesn’t love gum?
A good piece of gum is always a way to de-stress, spread some cheer or just savor a moment (like after those crazy twins in your preschool class get picked up for the day….) Enjoying a piece of gum is a surprisingly easy and quick way to beat stress. For me, I find gum helps me concentrate more on a task and helps me beat cravings or snack less. This makes it the perfect addition to this pampering gift. Wrigley gum makes a great stocking stuffer and affordable holiday treat or Secret Santa gift for that hard-to-buy for person.
This gift idea is inexpensive and easy to put together – here is what I included:
Extra® gum — Extra® Spearmint, Extra® Peppermint, Extra® Polar Ice Gum as well as the classic Doublemint®, which everyone loves!
Peppermint Scrub (so easy to make!)
Peppermint Body Butter (also homemade!)
After-Shower Oil
Lip Balm

I have never made body scrub or butter before but I love how easy it seems. Thanks for both of the recipes. And YES, I’m sure your twins’ teachers need a little EXTRA pampering this holiday. 🙂 And so do you mama. #client
