Moms know it. The more you can do with less stuff, the better. If I can reach for the same bottles for myself that I use for my kids – well then that’s time (and money) saved! I’ve always used Johnson’s Baby products on my children – since my first son was born 6 years ago. From baby powder, baby oil and of course baby shampoo.
But did you know these products are good for Mom, too?
5 Simple Time-Saving Hacks for Moms with Johnson’s Products
1. Baby Oil for Moisturizing Your Skin
I love the Baby Oil in the gel form. It’s so easy for me to put on after my shower – as I’m drying. It soaks into the skin and leaves your skin smooth and smelling great.
2. Tame Frizzies & Split Ends
Just a small dollop of the gel baby oil can work miracles with your tresses! Frizzy flyaways? Rub a tiny amount into your hands and smooth onto damp hair. Dry as normal. It really calms my curly hair! In addition, it can tame rough ends on your already dry hair. Give it a try!
3. Dry Shampoo
Okay, we’ve all been there. No time to wash the hair – so it’s a ponytail kind of day. Still, I hate when my hair looks greasy! Did you know a bit of baby powder can act like a dry shampoo and soak up some of that excess oil. I like to sprinkle mine in at the roots – work it through some of the hair and then brush and massage in. The powder will disappear if you use in small amounts. No more greasy hair!
4. Beach Day Sand Fix
I’m one of those people that LOVES the beach. But hates the sand. Go figure. It’s not that I mind the sand, I just hate when it leaves with me. Next time, bring the baby powder, a microfiber cloth or cleaning mitt. Put it all in a ziploc bag and when you’re leaving, sprinkle some baby powder on the microfiber cloth and wipe away that sand like magic. It really works. My car on a beach day is proof!
5. DIY Mani/Pedi
Rub a bit of baby oil into your cuticles during your next DIY Mani/Pedi and then push them down for great looking nails!
6. Brush Wash
Do you clean your makeup brushes regularly? You should! Some warm water, a drop of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo and you’ve got a gentle solution to clean those makeup brushes. Just let soak for a bit, clean out, rinse until water runs clear and allow to air dry.
