Tips to Organize Under the Bathroom Sink

Jul 20, 2015 Stephanie

Need organization tips for under your bathroom sink? Kids keep it messy? This post shares tips for organizing the space and has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ScottTubeFree #CollectiveBias

Tips for Organization- (2) (1)

Under the bathoom sink. Try as I may, I can never seem to keep it organized due to the three little pairs of hands that are constantly reaching, grabbing and tossing stuff into it. I realized that it needed a good overhaul – a cleaning and organization that worked for my family. I was inspired to do after seeing Scott Naturals Tube Free toilet paper.

Scott Naturals Tube-Free is like your standard roll of toilet paper – without the roll at the end of the roll. No excess waste – no trash and nothing to throw away. It’s just less wasteful, and that’s important considering that over 17 BILLION (yes, BILLION) tubes are tossed each year. That’s enough to fill the Empire State Building twice! Having used these rolls, which I found at Target, I can say that they roll exactly the same on the holder and the quality of the toilet paper is great. The rolls have premium softness, quality and a great value.

Scott Naturals cuts the excess, and so am I with my under the sink cabinet. I started by eliminating everything we didn’t use and recycling any empty bottles, containers or boxes. For some reason, my kids love to put back empty bottles! Next, I picked up these carry organizers that are more commonly used for art or supplies and labeled each with my kids’ names. ‘

Each of my children now has a bucket with all of their toiletries.  No more looking for their favorite toothpaste or arguing over which superhero is on the toothbrush. Each morning and night, they simply grab their bucket and everthing is there!

Another idea was to purchase a rotating tray – most commonly used in your pantry for spices or cans. These are GREAT for organizing other cabinets and closets. Your kids will only have to spin the tray to find the product they need.

Finally, keep bins on hand for things like hair appliances and/or your Scott Naturals Tube Free toilet paper. I find that I’m able to fit more into a tight space without the roll inside.

And there you have it – an easy, inexpensive and organized way to tackle the mess under your bathroom sink.
