A Week with the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander

Jun 20, 2015 Stephanie

For the past week, I’ve been incredibly lucky to be driving around in the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander as part of #SoFabUOTR NYC and #DriveMitsubishi through Drive Shop. I was provided with the car for one week to share my thoughts and opinions on the car.

I think the thing that I loved the most about the Outlander was how spacious it was without being a bulky car. I was able to fit two car seats and a booster in the back seat – and we still had the third row available to us. Backseat spacious

Features I Love

This car has it all, but there’s a few standout features that make my life so much easier.

  • Third Row Seats – these fold down to allow for a lot more cargo space when you don’t need the extra row. This car was able to store all of the things that we accumulated on our errands – a can of paint (we’re doing some major painting at home!), some veggies and fruit from our trip to the farm and my son’s school bag.
  • Easy Access to Cargo Space – Hatch opens and closes with the touch of a button. This mother’s dream come true for when my hands are full or it’s raining.
  • Comfort

The Mitsubishi Outlander can comfortably seat 7 – comfortably!

Safety Features

The features like “Lane Departure” and “Brake Alert” will alert you when you have strayed into another lane without indicating with your blinker. Amazing Radio & Navigation The sound quality in the car is great, along with satellite radio. The touch-screen makes everything so simple to use – from radio to navigation system. The navigation system is great to have because your phone can leave you distracted and trying to stare a small screen while driving. Above all, I love the backup assist =  a yellow, green or red line will alert you to have much room you have to backup! Interior Mitsubishi Outlander Overall, this is a great car – the size , design and features make it a pleasure to drive – I’m going to miss it after this awesome week is up!

This Week in the Mitsubishi Outlander 2015

We had a rainy week here in New Jersey, but we still snuck in a few trips out to keep the kids busy.  Our first trip was to one of our favorite farms, where they are doing a lot of work to get ready for the fall, believe it or not.

Mitsubishi Outlander

The Outlander handled beautifully on the different roads – gravel, dirt and paved. The cargo space is great – we fit in all of our fruits and veggies and other items! IMG_3355 (1) More recently, we took advantage of the nice weather and headed out to one of my favorite spots – a local arboretum. That post & pictures is coming up along with some tips on what / how to pack for day trips – essentials for your car. We have learned the hard way more than once what we don’t want to be without. IMG_3362 My kids were excited to take the Outlander – and were excited to explore the gardens, fountains and nature. 7 years ago, we took our wedding photos right in that very spot – so it was really awesome to have my kids running around the same spot.

If you’re looking to get great space, features and a sleek design – the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander is a great choice. You can test drive it at your local dealership.
