Easter is coming quickly and I’m very behind on planning. These days, my kids keep me so busy that I realized that some things just have to give. I can’t slave in the kitchen for hours, making every single dish. This year, I’m turning to HoneyBaked for easy, simple and delicious Easter meal solutions! Along with some other simple things, I know I can put a great meal out with half the effort!
1. Keep Decor Simple
Sometimes simple is better. Fresh flowers, colorful plates and a few seasonal decorations – like these tin bunnies – will keep things festive and pretty.
I loved putting together these seating cards / favors with candies in a bag shaped like a carrot. Easy and two things done in one simple step.
2. Sometimes, You Can’t Do It All
Let others bring items. Make things ahead and purchase prepared foods. You can visit HoneyBaked to pick up as much of the meal as you need. I was able to visit my local HoneyBaked and picked up a Mini-Ham, Turkey Breast, 2 Side Dishes and a Dessert. You can find your local store here.
The Ham and Turkey Breast were amazing. Moist, delicious and I love that they are pre-sliced, making it so simple to get on the table. The Ham’s signature, sweet & crunchy glaze had everyone raving at a ‘trial-run’ dinner we had. Me – I’m just happy to know exactly what I’m putting on the table for Easter dinner – and that it will be cooked to perfection and delicious. It’s one less thing to stress about, so I can just focus on my family & kids.
3. Relax & Enjoy
If you’re relaxed and enjoying yourself, everyone else will. You can tell when your host/hostess is stressed and it’s not the right mood for a holiday. Just do the best you can planning and enjoy your family & friends.
