I love watching imagination at work in my two-year-old twin girls. Now that they are getting older, they are able to follow a storyline and recently fell in love with FROZEN.  It’s a rare moment one of them isn’t dressed up or singing a song from the movie. It is absolutely adorable to watch them play, act out their favorite scenes and engage in FROZEN-inspired pretend.

This year, I wanted to create an Easter basket filled with FROZEN fun for them both and I was really happy to find everything I needed at Walmart to create an amazing gift basket (or two) for the girls.

Frozen Easter Buckets #DisneyEaster #ad

I decided on these glitter FROZEN buckets featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf. They were adorable and perfect for filling with gifts. I liked that the girls could also use the buckets to fill with eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt with their cousins. I started by filling each bucket them with shades of blue and white tissue paper to mimic ice and snow.

It’s a welcome change from the paper shreds or grass that gets everywhere!  I included wands, crowns, a new Elsa dress-up gown and FROZEN jewelry sets.

I also decided to make them each a personalized water bottle and a plastic tub for their rooms. It’s the perfect place for these girls to keep all their new FROZEN items.

Finally, the girls and I had so much fun making FROZEN-inspired Easter eggs! We’ll bring them to our family Easter Egg Hunt to share with my nieces. Everyone brings two dozen eggs and hides them in my in-law’s backyard and the kids have so much fun.

These eggs are simple to make. I used faux eggs, as a personal preference, but you could certainly do this with hard-boiled eggs. We dyed them blue and after drying,  we applied decals, stick on jewels and beads to dress up each egg.

The girls are in-love with them and can’t wait to share them on Easter.

If you’re looking to create a FROZEN Easter basket, you can find all you need in the seasonal aisles at Walmart.

In addition to the FROZEN product line, they also have awesome products for Disney Princess, Disney Junior, and Marvel. It’s easy to create the perfect basket for any interest!

Thanks Cristi! We’re using ours for an egg hunt, too. Although my son says they’re too sparkly and will be spotted right away. perhaps…. 🙂

I love the detail you put into all of those eggs. Raising boys, they were not a fan of “Frozen” since the snow monster was a little too scary for them. I love your idea of having a theme for Easter baskets. Ours will probably be ocean themed with some “Octonauts,” which rules our household right now.

My son used to love Octonauts! 🙂 It’s funny, my daughters are two and don’t even flinch at the snow monster. But my son is 5 and hates that scene. He runs out of the room. An ocean themed basket with Octonauts is a great idea!

Obviously your baskets are awesome because my six year old daughter just told me she NEEDS one of these. With a new baby on the way and due in just two weeks we are looking to work ahead for Easter. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration! #client

I hit enter too soon! 😉

My little dude is two so this is the first year we are doing Easter baskets! He does love Frozen (Olaf of course!), so I might take some of these ideas for my little dude. I know he would love to decorate eggs with stickers.

Thanks, Krystal! Olaf would be a great theme for a basket, too! I think it would be fun to decorate the eggs like Olaf or do something with stickers, like you suggested. Enjoy!

It’s amazing all of the creative projects people can do with the Frozen theme. I absolutely love the eggs decorated with the sparkle, beads and snowflake – they look so special. The personalized goodies also add a nice touch, and the blue tissue paper is so pretty.

This is awesome! Now I am over Frozen as much as the next person… hahaha. But I sure do know a few little girls that would probably die of excitement if they got a Easter basket like this! I know I would if it was something I loved. I think you did an awesome job!
