Thank you to Little Remedies for sponsoring this post as part of my partnership with them. As always, all thoughts and ideas are my own.
Motherhood is filled with many firsts. From the first time you meet and hold your baby, so begins a journey of many first times. Most are amazing and wonderful – milestones, first smile, first steps, first food…I could go on and on with how wonderful mosts ‘firsts’ are. But some are not so pleasant – and they make up the initiation into motherhood. For example, the first (of many) sleepless night, the first boo-boo or the first time your child gets sick.
That last one, I remember vividly. It can be scary the first time your child gets sick – so being prepared is really important. That’s why I love to give a small new mom gift when I attend a baby shower. In addition to cute clothing or a registry item, I love to give something that will help the new mom survive those first few months. Recently, I had the chance to check out The Little Remedies® New Baby Essentials Kit – and it’s everything a mom needs to stay prepared for the first time her little one gets sick.
This is a great add-on gift for a shower – and you can find it exclusively at Walmart.
Little Remedies has been my choice since my first son was born – and now for my twin girls. The kit has everything you need to safely relieve most common symptoms. It includes:
Infant Fever/Pain Reliever
Soothing Syrup
Saline Drops
Gripe Water
Gas Relief Drops
Nasal Aspirator
Dosing syringes/dropper
Everything comes neatly packed in a convenient, zippered travel bag. Now, when baby is sick, reaching for this bag will have everything at mom’s fingertips in an instant.
The kit is available exclusively at Walmart.

I don’t have kids, but I remember the first time my nephew got sick. My sister was a nervous wreck. He spiked a pretty high fever. It turned out to be something pretty benign, but that first fever is VERY scary.
I always used Little Remedies when my boys were babies. They worked very well and were always so gentle.
This is a really great idea. I don’t have children yet but when I do I will want to have a kit like this for sure! All these things my new mama friends always talk about.
This sounds like an excellent kit to keep handy. My first child was healthy as could be, but my second one seemed to always be getting sick!
I don’t have any children yet but it is so important to be prepared even as adults. This looks like a great list of must haves for those with little ones.
I am always that crazy mom who rushes her kids to the E.R. its silly I know!
I agree! when your baby gets sick is the worst! I love this kit! It has EVERYTHING you need when your baby gets sick! My sister just had a baby so I’m going to pick one up for her!
While I’m not a mom and don’t have kids yet, having these essentials will be very helpful. I like the concept of Little Remedies down to how it’s packed in the zippered travel bag. It makes mommy’s life easier.
The Little Remedies® New Baby Essentials Kit – does seem ideal – the first time my son was teething, he was miserable – and so was I – I didn’t know what was going on!
This is a great gift for any new mom. I know it will definitely come in handy many times during baby’s first year.
This sounds like a great kit. I wish I had this when my son was little. It would make a great baby shower gift.
Love this idea. It’s always a big help to have some extra things prepared when you’re a new mom.
That is a really nice and handy kit! The bag is super cute too. Every new parent needs one.
What a terrific idea and an important kit to have in all our homes. I’ll share this information.
This is a great little kit. The first time they get a cold you want to try to help them feel a bit better. While these are no cure, I’ll take a little comfort for the little ones.
I don’t have kids, but I can imagine what it’s like when they’re sick for the first time. I know I’d be stressing out!
I’ll be passing this along to my daughter. She just had her first baby. Reminders are always a good thing. Thank you for sharing.
That’s a really great kit. I’ve got a family member that is expecting and I’ve been trying to get up a gift basket for her with much needed items.
Oh man! Where was this when my babies were babies? Lol. How awesome though!
This is something I would have found very useful when I had my son. Very good have for all the new moms out there!
Every new mom should Little Remedies in their medicine cabinet. This was my go to when all my kids were younger.
Looks like Little Remedies has a complete set of line for kids. I wonder if I can find that brand here.
