I recently had the chance to host a playdate featuring Let’s Imagine Elmo and other amazing Playskool toys, like the Stack N’ Spin Monkey Gears and Transformers Mixable Mashable Heroes. We were supplied with everything we needed for our invited little ones to have fun playing and imagining, like hats and stickers! Cousins and friends were thrilled to learn we had fun new toys that we needed some help playing with!
About the Toys:
Let’s Imagine Elmo: You can bring the learning adventures from the Elmo the Musical Segment on Sesame Street off th escreen and into the famiy room with interactive Let’s Imagine Elmo plush! This 13-inch Elmo comes with three different hats which unlock different imaginary themes – like prince, cowboy and ship captain! So fun! The kids were totally over the moon about this Elmo doll. They spent so much time playing with him. It’s sure to be a top pick this holiday!
Stack N’ Spin Monkey Gears: Your little one can build up the fun by placing colorful gears all aroudn their monkey – sorting, stacking skills are reinforced as well as colors! Press the button and a musical, visual experience will have your kids enjoying this toy. My one year old niece was captivated by this toy and was sorting and stacking – such an amazing toy!
Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock: New for 2014, Mr. Potato Head brand combines with Mix and Mash in a 2 inch scale featuring Transformers characters. This toy is super fun! You can see Grimlock chomp his jaw and launch a projectile! Kids are developing fine motor and imagination skills while playing with this toy!
Everyone enjoyed playing with all of the toys. Even the older children were drawn to the toys for the littler ones – helping them to stack and sort gears in the monkey! We enjoyed asking everyone to imagine what they would like to be! It was a great kick-off to the concept of using your imagination – and what it means to imagine.
With a healthy snack, our party was easy, simple and full of learning and fun. Apples, cheese, carrots and a low-fat strawberry milk for a bit of fun!
Overall, everyone had a fun time and each child left with something to take home and imagine with!
