I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Jif To Go Dippers. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.
A bag of tricks. Every mom has one. Mine doubles as my purse and before we leave for our busy days I stock it. Items for distraction for the little one while the older one is at practice, hand/face wipes, water and of course, snacks. Lots of snacks. When kids are on the go, they get hungry and uncooperative usually follows hungry. :
Jif To Go® Dippers are one such snack that I typically throw into my bag – because I can literally throw this complete snack in with no prep whatsoever and feel good about what I’m giving my kids.
Jif To Go® Dippers! are an all-in-one portable snack of Creamy Peanut Butter with Pretzels or Chocolate Silk Peanut Butter Spread with Pretzels.
The upper container has pretzels and the lower sealed container has the spread.
It’s delicious, filling and healthier than other snacks, these are now my go-to for days when we have practice, meetings, appointments and no time. And since it’s all-in-one, there’s no fuss or mess left behind.
My family loves both varieties. Peanut butter is always a favorite around here but, if anything, the Chocolate Silk may win out by a bit because it is chocolate!
With an easy snack idea covered, what are the other things that I keep in my bag?
Here are my 5 Mom Must-Haves For Your Bag:
1. Snacks (see above) & Water
2. Hand & Face Wipes
I keep baby wipes in my purse at all times. Not only do I have little ones still in diapers, but these double as a go-to for anything. From a spill in the car, to messy face and hands or a stain on clothing. Baby wipes have saved me countless times!
3. Small Toys
Kids, especially toddlers, always seem to lose control and cooperation at the worst possible moments. Luckily, young kids can quickly be distracted by small toys. My secret, when I’m at the craft store or dollar store, I hit the party favor or small toy bins and stock up on little “toys.” They’re easy to throw in my bag and they provide entertainment and quiet.
4. First-Aid
They make small travel size first aid kits or you can keep your own supplies, like I do. Boo-boos happen all the time and can happen anywhere. My kids’ day is ruined when they get a boo-boo….it’s the end of the world. Sometimes a quick fix, fun band-aid is all you need to keep everyone going on their way…happily, of course.
5. Travel Size Products:
Pick what fits your family’s needs, but keep travel sized products in a zippered pouch. For me, I keep sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, hand lotion and lip balm. Since they’re small, they don’t take up too much room and you’ll always be prepared.
