Nutri-Grain Fruit and Oat Harvest Bars

Breakfast is just one of those meals that I never seem able to fit in. And that is pretty unfortunate, because I believe it IS the most important meals of the day. I do feel better and eat better the rest of the day when I’ve had breakfast. With one year old twins and a four year old twins, my mornings often get away from me and I find myself on the run or too busy to eat.

I recently had a chance to try out Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars. These bars taste great and are filled with real fruit and whole grains – a great breakfast option for this busy mamma.

On the Go breakfast

I really loved the Country Strawberry variety! You can taste the difference in these bars with a much more natural, wholesome taste. I enjoyed these bars on-the-go, throwing one in my bag or purse to eat. Even at home when my kids’ needs seemed to chip away at my own breakfast time, liked knowing that if I didn’t get a chance to eat at home, I could take a good breakfast on the road with me. And even if at home, I could still eat this bar on the go while I chase after kids.

Each bar is made with a hearty combination of protein (4grams per bar!), real fruit and whole grains -all of  which helps carry you through a busy morning. You can find either variety – Country Strawberry and Blueberry Bliss – at retailers nationwide!

    And yes, if i have a protein shake I have a lot of energy for the day.
    if i eat carbs, I am hypo-glycemic by lunch-time and only want more carbs.
