I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CWIST. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. #MC
Lately, I feel like our four year old is constantly telling us what he wants and has to have. A catalog comes in the mail and he “wants” everything. Commercials on television – he points out each and every thing he must have. Even playing with friends, he wants what they have. Part of it is his age – but we feel its important to make him choose a few things he really wants and work towards them. So naturally, when I learned about CWIST, I was really interested.
What is CWIST?
This is the perfect way for parents to help their child understand how they can “earn” things – and about the importance of hardwork and giving back. And this holiday season CWIST also has a Kids CWIST For Kids initiative which is really great.
I chose to have my son participate and we chose a beach ball nutrition/exercise CWIST. He can be a picky eater and we are always looking to encourage exercise. We really enjoyed creating our beach ball and learning about nutrition and exercise. There are CWISTS for all levels and interests. The best part about completing CWISTS is being able to donate a toy to kids in need through the Kids CWIST for Kids charitable initiative. This program runs through 1/6/14.
