New York City is just one of those places that has that unique ability to make me feel amazing. No matter what stresses I have going on or what kind of mood I’m in, the streets and diverse neighborhoods of this city make me forget it all. Quite simply, I really Love this City. There is always a sense of familiarity for me, but at the same time, I can always expect something new or different.
Perhaps it’s a new restaurant, coffee-house or bakery discovered, a new store that I can’t believe I never noticed before, or an event stumbled upon that makes it different each time.
When I was in my 20’s, the nightlife, shopping and overall vibe drew me in. Now, those things are still appealing, but the diversity, culture, restaurants, events and parks (okay, and still the shopping…) are what really draw my husband and I to spend so much time here with our 3 children. We live a short train or car ride outside of NYC in a NJ suburb.
One of our favorite things to do is to spend Sunday mornings in the city. We usually try out a new place for brunch or coffee and just walk or visit a park . We especially love Union Square – and nearby neighborhoods like Greenwich Village and Chelsea.
A favorite place – Union Square.
Best.Playground.Ever – Union Square Park Playground. Bring a change of clothes for your kiddos…Can you say water features?

Always time for some shopping… |
We love when we stumble on an event. This one was promoting pet adoption. And even though my 4 year old asked us no less than 860 times if we could get a dog, we had a great time!
I love Sunday mornings like this and I #LoveThisCity. The time spent
together here is priceless.
You can see more pictures and reasons why I love NYC over on my Google+ Album.
great pictures! I can see why you love your city!
Glad you had a fun day in a place you love:)!
My favorite thing to do in the city (besides eating at Wa Jeal Sichuan, 11 Madison Park and Jean-Georges) is to have a 30 minute carriage ride in central park!
Hahahah, I figured a mom would know precisely where all the best playgrounds in NYC would be. *jots down notes* I just hope I don’t scare too many kids while I’m squeeeing on a swing. 😉
I can’t wait to visit NY this month! Thanks for the post! Nice photos! #client
