I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Reebok. I received a Famous Footwear gift card to purchase a pair of Reebok shoes to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.
I recently started running for exercise. And while it’s a work in progress for me, one thing I’ve noticed is that what I wear matters and affects my performance. Not wearing the right clothing, shoes, or even accessories can really influence a workout. But the shoes, they are by far the most important factor for me in how well I run.
When I started running, I was wearing a pair of older running shoes that had probably seen better days. I quickly upgraded to a pair of Reebok ZigKicks on the recommendation of a friend and I never looked back. They are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. And they have definitely enhanced my running.
So when I had the opportunity to shop Famous Footwear for some new Reebok shoes, I was really excited. My goal was a to get a pair that would work better for some of the classes I take at the gym. I want to make sure I keep my running shoes strictly for running and then have a pair (or two) for other forms of exercise.
Since there is a Famous Footwear in a shopping center I go to all the time, I popped in one day to see what kind of selection they had. After browsing online, I was interested in the Reebok FitnisRush. This particular Famous Footwear had them in stock and in my size! I was really happy that they had their BOGO sale going on – where you buy one shoe and get the other 50% off! With the already great price on the FitnisRush, I was able to use my provided gift card to get some Fall shoes for my four year old. Famous Footwear definitely knows how to help you stretch every dollar. It also pays to sign up for their rewards program where you earn points for your purchases.
The Reebok FitnisRush did not disappoint, much like the ZigKick. They literally hug your foot and don’t feel heavy or bulky. Instead they are light and have the right amount of support in the right places. I love the oversize pivot point – which really helps when taking a class on those slippery exercise studio floors. They are the perfect shoe for what I do at the gym, and my ZigKicks are perfect for running. Now, I’ll probably keep my eye on the Reebok selection at Famous Footwear to see what shoe I might like next!
