When planning for guests in our home, I’ve always purchased disposable hand towels for the bathroom. The ones I’ve purchased have always had our last name initial on them – and they can be pricey for the amount you get. But I always purchased them for guests because of a pet-peeve of mine: I really, really dislike when I go to dry my hands on a hand towel and find it wet from previous use. And with my four year old drying his hands on our hand towels, I never wanted to subject guests to that.
But what about day to day use? There should be an easier, more hygienic solution for our family. The bottom line is, the hand towel used by everyone is spreading germs. When I learned about Kleenex Hand Towels, I knew I wanted to try them out for our family.
People dry their hands on cloth bathroom towels approximately 200 billion times per year in the US alone. That’s a lot of hand washing. Single-use bathroom towels help reduce the spread of germs as compared to re-usable towels, providing consumers with a product that gives them a hygienic solution. Rather than having guests use the same hand towel to dry their hands, Kleenex Hand Towels offers a cleaner way to dry hands. {Information from Kleenex Hand Towels}
I received some packs of these hand towels and we love them. They have the right amount of thickness and I’ve found that I’m not going through as many hand towels. My four year old is really good about washing his hands, BUT he has some pretty dirty hands most of the time. I’m constantly washing hand towels – sometimes replacing them 2 or 3 times a day. That’s a lot of laundry! These disposable hand towels have really made a difference and my four year old has really taken to using them. I like that these are more sanitary and more affordable than previous ‘guest towels’ I’ve purchased.
To show people the difference, Kleenex Hand Towels placed a hand-washing station in the middle of Central Park in New York City. Watch the video below to see the reactions of those who used the hand washing station. It’s priceless, as people clearly preferred Kleenex Hand Towels!
That sounds great, Stephanie. I absolutely adore it when paper hand towels are thick enough and soft enough, but never knew what brand the good ones were!
I custom ordered a bunch once from a company online and they were really rough, grrrr.
I will definitely be ordering these from Kleenex now.
