For Kids

Learning Resources ; Farmers Market Sorting Set

Apr 28, 2012 Stephanie

I’m working with my favorite educational toy and learning source again this month – Learning Resources! A popular shopping site for me, and go-to for the best educational games and toys as a teacher, I now LOVE it as a mom. My toddler just thrives on these toys. They’re fun, but I’m thrilled that he’s learning so much from them.

This month, I’m featuring the Farmers Market Color Sorting Set.

First of all, if it involves food, my kid loves it! He is wayyy into his play kitchen cooking and food shopping, so this is the perfect new accessory toy for him. He can do the grocery shopping with his cart and then pretend to stop off a the farmer’s market for produce. Not only is it a great vocabulary builder, we also are able to sort the fruits and vegetables by color and even food type.

This is a great set – with vibrant colors and realistic looking foods that kids just love!

It’s great for kids ages 3 – 7 and I highly recommend it for both at-home play and classrooms!
