My husband is a great Dad. It can be overwhelming having three year old twin girls and a very active five year old boy. They all want his attention and time – and he manages to be the best Dad to each of them, while making each of them feel special. It’s no easy task, but he approaches it with so much patience. They all adore him.
From taking my son to football games, to playing on the floor as a human jungle gym for three littles, cuddling on the couch to being the master of the grill – they are so lucky to have such a great father. For me, I’m so lucky to have such a great husband. He truly is an anchor for us.
This Father’s Day, we wanted to give him an amazing gift since he is just about to start a new job – one he had been hoping for. In that spirit of a new journey and remaining an anchor for us all, we decided to give him a Nautica Life gift set.
The box set is beautiful and I was able to find it at Macy’s in the Men’s Fragrance Section.
The journey begins with this invigorating fragrance – starting with Living Sea Salt, Organic Ivory Coast Ginger, Sage, Lavendar and Natural Violet Leaf – creating a blend of uplifting freshness, mysterious aromatics and refined woods. It’s a great summer fragrance that reminds me of our time in New England during the summer – on the beaches, by the water. It’s a natural choice for my husband – I know he’ll love it.
This deluxe gift set is yours for only $65.00, a $128.00 value. This gift set includes: 3.4 oz Eau de Toilette, 2.5 oz Aftershave Balm, 2.5 oz Shower Gel, and 1 oz Eau de Toilette.
To accompany the gift, I decided to make sure he had a great place to keep the set – a vanity tray for the bathroom so that everything he uses will have a spot.
I chose a shadowbox type frame – since they tend to be deep, which creates a nice edge for the tray. I chose a plain wooden one and added a piece of burlap into the base of it to give it some texture.
I wanted to give it a bit of a finished look, so I picked up some upholstery tacks (you can find at any home improvement store) and placed those along the entire edge.
They gave the tray a masculine and polished look that I had been going for. If you want to do this, be sure that the wooden frame or box you choose is a ‘softer’ wood – at least this made it easier for me so that hammering them in was quick and easy.
Overall, the tray looks great and now things will have a place of their own…instead of all over the bathroom counters! I also like being able display the gorgeous bottles in the Nautica Life set, which I paired with a new hand towel, his own hand soap and more.
